Looking to sell some beats to aspiring hip hop MCs? We’re pleased to announce a partnership with Grimey Republik to sell your beats auction style. Generally, these guys will be looking to buy hip hop style instrumental tracks, but they could be looking for more out there sounds. For more details on this, hit me up through email at firstname.lastname@example.org

It’s always a great time around the office when we get to work with new artists. Shag sent in his album Palette 2 days ago and we basically fast tracked him into the artist roster. His album is composed of funk and soul samples with hip hop beats that can stand toe to toe with some of the best producers in the industry. And this kid is only 18 years old. We look forward to a rich future for Shag in the coming years. Be sure to grab Palette in the Beardography section.

After Beardology co-founder David Peck mentioned to me that he had recorded a mixtape, we’ve decided to add in mixtapes! We’ll be doing these semi-frequently, I guess whenever some one submits one that is good. The mixtapes page is still in its zygote stage but it will eventually include all of the mixtape album covers, just like in the Beardography section.
Do you have a mixtape you’d like to submit? Put it on SoundCloud and link that to dsane [at] beardologyrecords [dot] com. We’ll take a listen to it and link it up on here so you can potentially get some more exposure!
***Bonus Update*** Just finished up the rest of the artist pages. Now it’s just a matter of going in and making sure that there are all of the cross-reference links that we need as well as a few more updates, like the Links section. Want your site to be featured in our links section? Email us at dsane [at] beardologyrecords [dot] com with relevant information about your site/blog/whatever.

After some blood, sweat, and tears (and a few good beers) the first 2/3 of the artist pages have been remade in the new format. Expect the others to be completed eventually. Now you can head to your favorite Beardologist’s page and see all of the albums they’ve done in one handy spot! Also bonus stats, links, and information are available where applicable. There’s still no link to go back to the homepage which is baffling, but if you want to read any of these news updates, they’re all available in the handy upper right corner of the page. We’re still trying to do something about the sidebar being obscenely huge yet having a minuscule font.
Also added Twitter.

Still working hard on a lot of the content and formatting of the site, but for now, the most important stuff (THE MUSIC!) is back up! All 21 of our releases to date have been cataloged in the Beardography section. Feel free to peruse them at your leisure. Artist profiles will be coming in the next round of updates. For now, please bear with us as this re-building operation is painstakingly boring. And let’s face it, we’re working for free!

Don’t you just hate that phrase?
We’re going to be spending the next few hours/days/weeks rebuilding Beardology Records from scratch. If you’re a fan of ours, be sure to add us on Facebook for updates about when the site is complete. In the mean time, feel free to anxiously wait with baited breath for the completion of this site. It will look 10x cooler than the last design, that’s a guarantee.
