河臺金礦
河臺金礦(產于元古宙變碎屑巖、泥質巖、碳酸鹽巖中的金礦構造蝕變巖型亞類)。
河臺金礦發現于1982年7月,位于高要縣境內。它的發現,為在華南地區前泥盆紀地層,特別是混合巖化變質巖系中尋找同類礦床提供了范例。
在大地構造位置上,礦區位于吳川-四會斷裂帶與那蓬-悅城斷裂帶的交匯部位,礦區由震旦系C組混合巖化片巖、變粒巖、片麻巖、混合花崗巖組成,南側為志留系和奧陶系淺變質的復理石建造。兩者呈斷層接觸,含金千糜巖帶賦存于斷層北側的混合巖化巖石和混合巖內(圖4)。Zc 組巖石主要有二云母石英片巖、云母片巖和少量黑云母變粒巖、片麻巖等。片巖中普遍含夕線石。由于混合巖化作用普遍,因此常見新生的斜長石和微斜長石呈眼球狀沿片理分布。
